Chef Richard Petty “Pop Up” Dinner @ The Natural History Museum Rotunda
Chef Richard Petty, author of the award winning cookbook, Beyond Soul Food, Modern American Heritage Cuisine will helm a “Pop Up” dinner in the rotunda of the Natural History Museum on September 25th at 6:00pm. The appreciation dinner for 60 will be hosted by Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas.
The menu will consist of Chilled Watermelon Soup with House-made Creme Fraiche; Warm Buttermilk Fried Chicken Salad, Candied Pecans, Sliced Peaches, Baby Heirloom Tomatoes, in a Smoked Peach Vinaigrette;BBQBraisedShort Ribswith Creamy Yellow Grits,Micro Greens,and BraisingJus. The Vegetarian Option willinclude:Warm Peach Salad,Baby Heirloom Tomatoes, Candied Pecans with a SmokedPeach Vinaigrette;Roasted Portabello Mushroom with Creamy Yellow Grits,Micro Greens and Mushroom Jus. Dessert will be Banana Cream Pie with Creme Anglaise.
